
Katie M. Murphy, PhD is the Director of Phenotyping and Principal Investigator at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center, a non-profit research institute in St. Louis, Missouri. She holds a B.S. with Honors in Chemistry from Stanford University, and a PhD in Plant Biology from UC Davis.
In addition to great science, Katie is passionate about science communication. She believes that if tax payers fund her research, they deserve to understand what their money is doing. You can check out her science communication at this page.
